Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Disclaimers

Chip In is a recreational game-tracking app created by Raj Dandu. This page explains how Chip In handles data, the limits of the service, and the terms that apply when you use the app.

Chip In is designed to store and manage game information that you enter, such as player names, game names, buy-ins, returns, chip counts, and settlement records.

Chip In does not collect personal information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or analytics by the developer.

Chip In does not sell or rent your data.

Data you enter in Chip In is stored on your device. If iCloud is enabled for the app, your data and certain app settings may sync across your own Apple devices using Apple’s iCloud services. Raj Dandu does not receive, host, or have direct access to data stored only on your device or in your personal iCloud account.

Chip In includes Siri and App Intents support. If you choose to use Siri or shortcuts with the app, your request is handled through Apple’s systems to perform actions inside Chip In, such as adding a buy-in or returning chips to the bank.

Chip In does not include third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking technologies.

Chip In does not require access to contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location for its core functionality.

If you choose to use Apple sharing features, any content is shared only to the destination you select through Apple’s share sheet.

Your data remains on your device, and if enabled, in your iCloud account, until you delete it in the app, delete the app, or disable iCloud for the app. Because Raj Dandu does not maintain a server copy of your app data, Raj Dandu cannot directly retrieve, correct, export, or delete data that exists only on your device or in your personal iCloud account.

Chip In is not directed to children under 13, and Raj Dandu does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Chip In does not track users across apps, websites, or services owned by other companies.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted at rajesh.co/chipin.

Chip In is provided for personal, recreational, and informational use only.

Chip In is intended to help users track informal game activity, player contributions, chip counts, and settlements. It is not a gambling platform, sportsbook, casino service, wagering service, money transmission service, escrow service, banking product, or payment processor.

Chip In does not process payments, hold funds, transfer money, or facilitate real-money transactions.

All data and values in the app are entered by users. Raj Dandu does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness of any user-entered information, calculations, settlement outputs, or records produced by the app.

Chip In does not provide legal, financial, tax, accounting, or regulatory advice. Any use of the app and any decisions made from its outputs are your sole responsibility.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Chip In complies with all laws and regulations that apply in your location.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chip In is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Raj Dandu is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profits, financial loss, dispute, claim, or other damage arising out of or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on Chip In.

You may not use Chip In for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, abuse, or any purpose that violates applicable law.
